Steve Adams
Professionally Steve has held roles at the top of Companies such as National Westminster Bank where he was responsible for in sourcing its Card Processing together with Barclays and Barclaycard running Operational teams in excess of 3000 people on a global footprint. He has molded existing teams as well as creating new ones as a result of start up operations in either geographic locations of new business streams.
Therefore he has been responsible for the development of business and operating models on a global scale and is well placed to provide insights that few others can offer. His history is also extensive including installing one of the county's first Eft-Pos devices into Mr Byrite in Romford in 1985. This pioneering continued through the development of Internet commerce, physical and digital through to the roll out of ChiP and PiN to the UK's Retailers. He has therefore a long and successful track record of being at the forefront of new business models.
His drive to succeed extends to his sport CV extends winning several National Championships in Sailing as well as representing Great Britain in 14 World and European Championships achieving top 3 results in 4 of them. More recently he has been competing in endurance athletics including nearly 30 marathons, triathlons up to and including Iron Man and almost all used for raising money for charity, most recently his own.
In 2005 he set up the Charity Teach Africa which has set out to provide funding for secondary education for the brightest children from Nairobi’s slums
